Philip Martin's success in dogs is one any animal lover would dream of, an animal enthusiast his whole life, having bred Afghans, Chinese Crested's, Cavaliers, Dachshunds, German Shepherds among having and showing a menagerie of all other kinds of animals he mainly focuses on his Dobermans, breeding them since 1998. Under the name of Phillmar. Philip has been an AKC judge since 2006 and has judged in 5 countries he has bred 76 conformation champions and over 200 titled dogs! He’s received 25 awards for the country’s top 20 Dobermans. His passion and love for animals started as a young child having bred his first pure bred litter at 14 years old. Philip always knew he wanted to do something with animals, he built and started his first kennel outside of Charleston South Carolina, The Homeplace Bed and Biscuit. He then acquired, Powderhouse Kennels in Aiken South Carolina in 2006 and quickly grew it into another five paw pet resort!

An Acquisition of Love

Siblings Philip and Pamela found the High Point, North Carolina pet facility and acquired it from the previous owners that proudly owned and operated the establishment since 2010. They changed the name to Loving Pet Inn & Resort,  and  it was important that they kept the passion for the animals alive in the community. They loved the aspect of the pet boarding facility having the largest indoor to outdoor heated and air conditioned runs on 3 lush acres. Pets have large play yards and most importantly safety and security. Philip and Pam hope to make it another Five-Paw facility. Their values of serving the community, clients, pets and team members will make this a one-of-a-kind establishment in the High Point area.
